AC Master: next generation of inverters

Mastervolt announces the launch of the AC Master, a new generation of switch mode sine wave inverters for 200-350 Watt power requirements.


Offering an industry-leading price/performance ratio to recreational and semi-professional users, the AC Master is equally at home in the marine, mobile and solar power markets. Benefits include its compact and lightweight size, silent operation, pure sine wave output and impressive 200% surge power. 

 

While the use of standard 230 AC and 120 AC appliances continues to grow rapidly, this trend has not been matched by the availability of affordable sine wave inverters that offer a genuinely smooth operation. The new AC Master models are Mastervolt’s response, providing an extension to the company’s popular Mass inverters.  The application of advanced switch mode technology offers significant savings in weight. Distortion of the pure sine wave is virtually negligible, resulting in an extremely smooth sine wave output voltage.

 

The surge power of 200% offered by the AC Master is more than sufficient to start up inductive loads with high peak powers. The inverters have an efficiency of around 90%, with a no-load of 0.8A at stand by mode.

 

The AC Master optimises the price/performance ratio in other ways too. As is customary with Mastervolt products, the attractive design provides aesthetic flair in addition to superb functionality. All electric components are perfectly shielded and the units can be used in the harshest conditions. The plug and play AC Master is simple and safe to install, with clear signalling and a socket on the front to plug in the various appliances. The AC range will be extended later in 2007 with 700 and 1200 Watt models.
