Aquatec chooses Mastervolt
The Friesian company Aquatec Industries, known for the brands Maril Boats, Makma and Antaris, has chosen to use a Mastervolt electric propulsion system for the Antaris 630 and the Maril 570. The installation of pod engines gives extra possibilities for the layout of the yacht and the optimal use of the onboard space.
The yachts will be equipped with a battery set that will enable eight hours of carefree sailing at cruising speed. “Choosing for Mastervolt and its international network was a logical step,” says Maurice Kok of Aquatec.
Aquatec Industries was established in 2010 after the merger of the largest sloop manufacturers in the Netherlands, Antaris, Maril and Makma. It is situated in the town of Woudsend in the province of Friesland.
