Meanwhile, to further increase the coverage of the Asia-Pacific area, Mastervolt has appointed DragonShore as its new manufacturer’s representative (Sales and Technical support) forTaiwan. DragonShore is based inKaohsiung, and is already a representative for Boning, Hypro, Sea Vision, Sea-Fire and Yacht Sentinel.
Commenting on the new appointments, Commercial Manager Erik van Wilsum said, “The Israeli market is an interesting one for Mastervolt due to the wide range of demands for our products, particularly from military and government institutions. Interdan has a long track record in the fields of mobile and solar, with good contacts in the local OEM marine market, and the collaboration with Atlantis Marine (as a dealer) will further strengthen its expertise. Atlantis Marine is a strong player in the leisure marine market, and is already a dealer for Raymarine, as well as for Hunter and Solana yachts.
“In Taiwan, DragonShore is well known in the territory, because Director Eva Chiu has been very proactive in the marine market for many years. This is a 100% export market, so we only need sales and technical support. It’s important to stress that to be successful here you need to work with complete trust, cultivate strong relationships with your representatives, and have good access to the local network. We have all of that with DragonShore.”
The new representation is part of an ongoing strategy under the giant US parent company Actuant to penetrate new markets, particularly in the field of renewable ‘off grid’ power supplies in the marine sector.
