Ziegler opts for Mastervolt

Fire fighting equipment company Ziegler Brandweertechniek in Winschoten (NL) supplies a wide range of fire engines and also manufactures tanker hoses, emergency vehicles, telescopic platforms and small vehicles as well as foam fire fighting units.

A common trait shared by all these vehicles is that their users must be able to rely on the vehicle itself and the equipment on board. "Failures can have catastrophic consequences in this industry,” says Jakob Tamminga, Project Leader Electrics at Ziegler Brandweertechniek. “Due to our high requirements we have chosen to use the full-automatic battery chargers from Mastervolt.
