Oyster World Rally 2022-2023

Oyster World Rally 2022-2023 begins in Antigua

In January, at Charlotte Point in Antigua, the starting cannon for the Oyster World Rally was fired. 25 British-built Oyster yachts are taking part in the 27,000 nm world circumnavigation that will take the intrepid crews some 16-months to complete, stopping at 25 locations around the world.

The Mastervolt team in the UK helped the sailors prepare for their circumnavigation through dedicated training seminars before they set sail. This included making sure the crews understand their onboard powered system, how to look after the boat's batteries and management system particularly when offshore for long periods of time and running through trouble-shooting scenarios.

Mastervolt is delighted to be supporting Oyster Yachts to ensure every yacht and sailor on the Rally, and future events, are well-prepared, ready for an adventure of a lifetime.

This is the third edition of the Oyster World Rally, and the only fully supported circumnavigation of the world. The highly experienced Oyster World Rally logistics and technical team are with the fleet every step of the way.

The Rally can be followed in real time on the Rally Live section of Oyster Yachts website. Next stop is Panama and then the Galápagos Islands!
