ASG Connect projects & team 

Within ASG Connect you will be part of the team responsible for creating and developing customized projects and solutions for international customers; a tailor-made integrated system of our products and services. 

A typical project? Be part of the electrification revolution: you could be developing a Lithium battery-based power-source for an electric drive water skiing boat. Can you stimulate the team to deliver the design, produce and test a prototype and optimize for volume production while securing the timeline and budget. 

What will the Project Manager be doing? 

Mission:

Project management is responsible for the coordination and completion of ASG Connect projects on time within budget and within scope. You oversee all aspects of projects, setting deadlines, and monitoring the progress of project. You prepare reports for the management regarding status of project.

In your role you are the binding factor between several disciplines; from (applications-) engineering to finance, from management to sales and of course the customer. 

Daily activities:

  • Take a lead-role to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Are involved right from the start, even before a quotation is sent to our customer and stay involved until the project is in mass production.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Are the interface with the customer when it comes to project content. From scope to planning, progress and responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects · Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Take ownership of your work

Who are we looking for 

We are looking for someone with a flexible mentality, a smart approach to face all the daily unforeseen issues of a project. Our fast-growing organization is constantly throwing new challenges at us which makes it important that you are adaptable. We have a strong team spirit in which we greatly appreciate open communication and each other’s company. We are looking for someone with a good work ethic and willingness to learn above a lot of experience.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a technical background or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in product development as engineer or project manager.
  • Have a fundamental understanding of system design, a production environment and DFM/DFS.
  • Your working style is solution oriented and pragmatic.
  • You like the challenge of international cooperation within a team · You like to travel on occasion to deal with challenges on-site and provide adequate support abroad.
  • IPMA-D or Prince2 level training will be considered a pre.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (English mandatory, Dutch is considered a plus);

Where we are?

The position is open on our Amsterdam office (Station Amsterdam Holendrecht) and it’s hybrid office/remote working.  You can reach the office using the public transport services or by car (we have a free parking reserved to our employees).
