Sourcing Specialist

What will you be doing?

Supplier relation management

  • Keep a close connection and good relationship with our suppliers to realize long term goals
  • Selection of EMS Supplier which will support our in-house development
  • ODM supplier selection for joint development programs  

Sourcing strategy

  • Converting business requirements on product development level towards sourcing and supply chain requirements
    • Keep your stakeholders aligned on developments, on multiple levels within the organization.

Execution of sourcing project

  • Drafting and sending out RFI’s and RFQ’s
  • Providing clear insight on the product cost roadmap and driving of cost reduction initiatives
  • Negotiate and setting up of supply contracts, pricing, and conditions
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and bottlenecks
  • Securing deliverables of other disciplines required for enabling a volume supply chain.
  • Support the R&D department with component selection for NPD to assure continuous supply of the products  

Sourcing Evaluation & Improvement

  • Setting up a program of category requirements
  • Define and align on supplier selection criteria, develop RfX, evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate Framework Agreements


  • You will team up with our Sourcing Manager and have close relationship with our Engineering and Logistical department

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Business/Technical discipline
  • Experience in strategical and tactical purchasing / category management in a High-Tech commercial environment
  • Contract management and negotiation skills
  • Analytical with an eye for quality
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic components is preferred
  • Excellent communication (Dutch & English) and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured, result driven and willing to make the difference
  • Occasionally required to travel abroad
  • Knowledge of Best Value Procurement is preferred.
