TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Over the last years our company has grown extensively.
Therefore, we are looking for a

 Technical Sales Representative

You will be part of our EMEA Sales Team and are responsible for commercial & technical support, development and expand relationships. You support the maximization of sales through product understanding and expertise and support product specific sales of all ASG brands (in particular Motorguide, Attwood and Garelick) in EMEA throughout the (technical) sales process in the two core channels AM and OEM.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting growing sales and share of wallet from new and existing (key) partnerships in EMEA;
  • Responsible for gathering and sharing product insights, supporting go to market strategies, and product and feature experience;
  • Manage (technical) product & brand sales activities and maintain sales records with report to management;
  • Provide input to sales team for a cross border understanding of the market & share best practices and business results;
  • Build-up, maintain and expand technical and market knowledge by attending client meetings, events and exhibitions and by reading professional literature;
  • Support expansion and strategic development to position ASG brands stronger in EMEA in both designated channels in close cooperation with related sales team;
  • Visit potential partners and support professional working relationships within EMEA with technical and product related questions from a sales point of view;
  • Facilitate training sessions, product demonstrations for customers & colleagues and assist

with new product launches;

  • Support a single organizational identity across all audiences EMEA wide;
  • Finding creative and innovate ways to communicate the value of the product;
  • Study Marine & Mobile market trends (boats and campers) and feed market information back into the organization to recommend changes/improvements in products or services.

Your profile
You are a proactive, responsible and innovative person. With your customer-oriented attitude, technical expertise and passion for boating and the marine and/or mobile market you contribute to the success of our company.

Other requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with relevant experience in the electrics / electronics field is a plus, experience with power electronics is a big plus;
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to combine commercial and technical approach;
  • Ability to travel (international);
  • Located in Amsterdam (NL) or Genoa (I) area;
  • Fluent in English.
